Yesterday I attended the first day of the GHD Clinic with Gary Rockwell. I learned an incredible amount from Mr. Rockwell as he coached all of the riders. Truly a kind, knowledgeable clinician...I was truly impressed with the work of Team Gray Horse Dressage, Joanna Gray-Randle and Julie Cannova. Dear Joanna & Julie, Equus Valley Pony Club and Meadow Brook Hounds Pony Club were honored to have been a part of such an amazing horse trial. Joanna and Julie welcomed United States Pony Club with open arms. We were fortunate enough to have our regional dressage rally the next day after the horse trial. This afforded the opportunity for some pony clubs from our Metropolitan Region to compete for 2 days. They even allowed them ride the required dressage tests needed for the rally as preparation for the next day. Thank you so much for your support of the United States Pony Clubs. I had the pleasure of competing at the inaugural Gray Horse Dressage Caumsett Horse Trials this past Saturday. The vast show grounds were immaculately groomed and the footing was worthy of any upper level event! GHD and show management set a high standard, as the show was run effortlessly and with first rate professionalism! We had so much fun today! I'm proud to say I took part in the horse trial. It was made known to me by another competitor that this was the first Event in many many years to be held at Lloyd Harbor Equestrian Center- so in a way I feel honored to be taking part in making history.
